🔨 What We’ve Been Up To: Projects & Services

At Hot & Heavy Welding we’ve been busy across several projects — from mobile welding in the field, to custom fabrication in the workshop. Here’s a summary of recent work we’re proud of:

• Heavy‑duty brush attachment for excavator (Mobile Welding, Coolalinga NT 0839):
  In an amazing collaboration with Spartan Future Engineering we manufactured a rugged brush attachment for an excavator. Spartan Future designed the attachment — and we assembled and welded the whole unit to deliver maximum strength and reliability. A great project born from great ideas and careful execution.
• Motorcycle exhaust repair (Workshop, Nakara 0810 NT):
  A customer’s motorcycle exhaust had been cut in half and required our welding expertise to weld it back together. We restored it to good working order, with the precision and care that any motorbike deserves 🫡.
• Camper trailer steel bracket repair (Workshop, Nakara):
  We repaired and reinforced broken steel brackets for a camper trailer — restoring the structure and ensuring safe performance on the road.
• Aluminium canopy shelves / compartments (Workshop, Nakara):
  We built custom aluminium shelving compartments for a canopy, tailored to the customer’s specifications.
• Trailer rust & hinge repair (Workshop, Nakara):
  One trailer came in with rusted hinges and a corroded perimeter door. We stripped out the rust, replaced all damaged parts with new galvanised steel, and installed brand‑new galvanised hinges for durability and longevity 😉.
• Motorbike engine cover + bracket repair (Workshop, Nakara):
  A 50cc motorbike that’s travelled around Australia arrived with a hole in the engine cover and a snapped internal bracket. We welded the hole and reinforced the bracket — now it’s stronger than ever 🫡😉👌.
• Residential carport steel frame fabrication (Workshop, Nakara):
  For a home carport project we fabricated and installed mild‑steel structure columns and a heavy I‑beam, creating a robust steel backbone capable of handling long‑span roof support — suitable for local weather and structural needs.
• Industrial steel crusher machine repair (Mobile Welding, East Arm 0822 at “INTERTEK”):
  A steel crusher machine had snapped solid steel brackets in half. We dismantled parts of the machine to access the internal side of the brackets, performed full rewelds with pre‑heating, and restored the machine back to working condition 💥.
