At Hot & Heavy Welding, we recently completed a trailer repair and hinge replacement job at our fabrication workshop, located at 36 Buchanan Terrace, Nakara 0810 NT.

The trailer came in with rusted hinges and a badly corroded perimeter door. Rust like this can compromise both the safety and longevity of a trailer—especially in Australia’s harsh climate.

Removed all rusted sections including hinges and door frame areas
Replaced them with high-quality galvanised steel, chosen for its superior rust resistance
Installed brand-new galvanised hinges to ensure long-term durability and smoother functionality
